Can anyone suggest a good shower unit? We are building a small "granny" apartment for our uncle and we need to do a shower system that is both functional and affordable.

kbadger, Hi, sorry it's taken a few days to answer this with the holidays the posts seem to be fewer. I'm not sure if there are any one better than another. I went online looking and found some sites for you to peruse:

http://www.handicap-access-showers.com/
http://www.shower-anywhere.com/Price-List-Medical.aspx
http://www.doityourself.com/stry/handicap-shower-stall-construction-tips

These should at least give you ideas and cost ranges. A lot of things need to be considered most importantly is your Uncles mobility, does He need a shower seat or will grab bars work? Stuff like that. Don't hesitate to post any questions and feel free to email me at LOHENGR1N@aol.com anytime. Take care, best of luck and hang in there.
