My husband is on hospice now. He has periods now where his eyes are closed and he is just limp. Other times he talks but you can't understand much. He has no pain for which I'm thankful. His appetite is OK but the weight loss continues. I don't know how much longer it will be until an infection sets in. This is hard.

I have been thinking about you. Good to hear you have hospice to support you and care for your husb. This is a tough journey and you have been there with your PDer the whole time. Take care and let us know if we can help.

Lynn - I remember going through this and it is hard. Hospice is very good about telling you what is going on at any given time. Take advantage of their expertise and let them guide you.

This has been a long, hard struggle for both of you. When that journey comes to an end it is frightening and you feel so very alone. We are here for you.
