I know that we have talked about constipation before but I just thought that I would add a personal experience. For about the past 3 weeks I have been suffering from severe bouts of constipation. So severe in fact that I had after 5 days of no movement gone to urgent care to be relieved of the impaction. It was recommended to try MiraLAX daily and Activia. MiraLAX comes in a powder used once a day for about a week. Activia is Dannon yogurt with probiotics added. I am greatful to announce that for the first in as long as I can remember I have had BMs on two consecutive days that were a wonderful experience rather than the pain I had gone through previously.

Thanks for reminding us of the Activia. I had tried it for awhile with my spouse and had moderate success. I'm going to introduce it into our diets again.
