Topic Statins and PD Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

I did a search of this site and nothing came up. I see many articles linking statins and neuromuscular diseases, including PD. My MIL has been on Lipitor and for the last few years, Zetia and Crestor. I am thinking of asking her cardio to discontinue these. It's strange, she always thought Lipitor was the cause of her PD. Is this one of the snake oil type things where folks claim to have answers? Anyone have any experience with this?
