For those who care for someone with Parkinson's disease
My husband just had two emergency surgeries for a bleed from an artery in the back of his nose area. It was really awful and complicated by the Parkinsons because the first approach was a packing that made him unable to swallow anything especially his Parkinsons meds. I could not get the hospital emergency room to recognize how this was a really bad thing.|
Fortunately we got to a specialist ear, nose, throat who understood and helped. But I have begun to wonder, does a serious nose bleed go along with Parkinsons?
We found out he could have bled to death from this.
