Dad has pd stage 4 and a diabetic, yesterday started with him unresponsive and for the first time i had to utilizing the 911 system. We spent the last two days in the er and going to different Dr appointments and many many tests to find out he has been eating better and loosing weight, he doesn't have to take his diabetic and one of his blood pressure medication anymore. (He confessed up until he moved in with me, his diet consisted of mainly cookie dough.)
I'm so happy for him. If he could have gotten up and danced he would have.
Today was a good day!

That's great!!

My dad is fortunately not diabetic, but before I got him a health aide, he was living on junk food. He would go through a dozen Entenman's doughnuts in three or four days, and otherwise live on cookies, ice cream and Cheezits. Nary a fruit or vegetable to be found. So, the cookie dough does not surprise me!
