Topic Refrigerator alarm - works for us Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

Sorry, friends for the multiple posts - but the topics have made me think of what "successes" we've had.

One - forgive me if this sounds trivial - is a refrigerator alarm.

My husband would leave the fridge door open often. I think something with the PD decreased his sense of touch - so he didn't quite know whether the door was closed or not. We had to replace to motor twice (expensive); milk got sour, etc.

Problem (mostly) solved!

The alarm works on light - if the door is open longer than 30 seconds, it sounds an alarm. To shut off the alarm, just close the fridge door.
