Do any of you go to O.T.? We just started two weeks ago and I think it's going to be a big help. The therapist has been working with my hubby on getting up and down, getting out of bed, using his cane and walker properly etc. These are the things that are the most difficult for us.
I had to ask the doctor to send us. Why didn't he think of this sooner? I hope we get to keep going for awhile.

My husband ha OT and PT for his shoulder and back pain...it really improved his mobiliy.

In the last year of my MIL's battle with PD, she had severa
Weeks of therapy that really loosened her up...she LOVED showing the nurse what she could do! It was rally sweet to see..the RN taught her how to roll over and get up, etc.

I believe the therapy lasted as along as she showed improvement in her range of motion...check with Medicare Andorra your insurance.
