I am beyond frustrated with my husband's neurologist. As my husband's memory and confusion issues increase, instead of saying he could be going into dementia, he says it sounds more attentional. He is thinking of prescribing something like Ritalin. My husband is also bipolar so I am completely against this. Has anyone else heard of this?

Lack of concentrating is definitely pd behavior. Will Ritalin help? I don't know. I'm interested in hearing your experience.

Ritalin was the best thing to ever happen to my dad! The Parkinson's meds made him so tired and just absent even when he was there. It has allowed him to remain alert and participate in life!
