Has anyone had experience with liftware utensils? I am new here. Taking care of my mother-in-law who has had Parkinson's about 20 years. She lives with us now.

Hello MG,

I have heard of the liftware utensils, but my husband has not wanted to try them.

I'm sure others will weigh in. In any event, you've come to a place where there is deep, kind support on this PD journey. Your M-i-L is lucky to have a home where she will be cared for.

Never heard of liftware. My husband's OT has a cheap solution you might want to try. Rubber bands. She wraps them on the handles of utensils. Also she wraps them on glasses. You need to wash items by hand. The rubber bands can not go in the dishwasher and too much bother to take them off and on. A lot less dropping and glass breaking since using them.
