Topic book recommendation: Final Gifts Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

A friend whose father is in hospice care now recommended this book to us:
*Final Gifts: Understanding the Special Awareness, Needs and Communications of the Dying*
by Maggie Callanan and Patricia Kelley.
It is very well-written and thought-provoking.

My loved ones are not there yet, but it is good to think about ahead of time as well. The authors are hospice nurses with years of experience talking with many people as they neared the end of earthly life.

This book was very helpful to us.
I keep giving my copy away and reorder another for myself.

Hi Mary,
I just went on Amazon and ordered Final Gifts. I hope its too soon for me to read it but I don't know. Thanks for the recommendation.
