We all know how key water is to life, and perhaps as important, CLEAN water. What with all the chemicals our PWP ingest daily, hourly, the last thing they need is MORE meds of unknown origin/class/regulation coming into their system involuntarily. Hence my need to share this article, this is not news to us, just the quantity, and the fact that it has finally made national headlines: Hospitals Flush 250 Million Pounds of Expired Drugs Into Public Sewers Every Yearby David Gutierrez, staff writer (NaturalNews) The Associated Press (AP) estimates that hospitals and long-term medical care institutions across the United States are dumping 250 million pounds of pharmacologically active drugs directly into public sewer systems each year. Sources for this story include: www.usatoday.com. Don't forget most municipalities add FLOURIDE to their water, and CHLORINE, so on top of the hospital trash in the water, you have these two chemicals, both of which can wreak havoc on the human body. Recent news articles about flouride are not good, and the very first town that flouridated its water in the US is trying to UNfloridate their water, now that the long-term effects of it being ingested are coming to light (including cancers and osteoporosis). |
