My FIL passed away this morning at 10:30 from aspiration pneumonia. He was only 70 years old. It has been a long last 2 weeks. He was able to hear us almost to the very end. Funny, but even though he could not talk, we were able to communicate with him. Mostly how much we loved him and he, how much he loved us. It is so amazing how we are so quickly able to forget the bad and remember the good and loving teacher and father that he was. It is going to be a tough next several days for the family so keep the prayers coming. Thanks all for your support. -Jenny |

I am so sorry for your loss. I have been there and it is hard. Know that you and your family did everything for your FIL and he was very fortunate to have had you there for him. Not everyone does. You are correct - we quickly forget the frustrations and remember the good times. We realize that it was the disease and not the person you knew. I felt that this was what was going on with you when we didn't hear from you for awhile. I hope that you will stay with us. Your insight will be valuable to others. Rest and find peace. |

| Jenny, Condolences to You and Yours on your loss. May G-D's Angels stand by Your side, guiding You through the dreary lands of grief, lighting your path. May they catch your when you stumble, guard you as you sleep and embrace you when you long for an embrace. Laugh when you can, cry when you must and heal in time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Your friends here on the forum will be here when you need Us or just want to post. Rest with the knowledge of a race well run and the battle well fought. May You find comfort, strength and peace in that knowledge. |

Jenny: My emotions are mixed today. Your news was the last of my readings today and my eyes filled with tears as seems to be just one more symptom of those of us Pd'ers. Thoughts and prayers from me are directed to you and your family because we all know your FIL is in another place and content with his new existence. Back in January you were "worried" about me being stage 5 (or so the computer tells me). I should have told you then not to worry about me because I sense some pupose for my being here, doing what I am doing in trying to help others. When it is my time to get to that "other side" I write about, I would hope my crosssover will be like that of your FIL. I join with hose who have asked you to stay on with us for a while to help a few others in their time of need. GOD BLESS! Bob C |

| Wanting to add my condolences as well. What a journey this is. I hope that as we all share in this Parkinson's path, that somehow the experience is a little lighter to bear. May there be comfort midst the sadness for you and your family in the days ahead. |
